Cabinet of Curiosities is the first in a series of self-published projects that explores global folktales and their eclectic characters and adventures. First published in 2019, Cabinet of Curiosities aims to highlight the importance of sharing stories in order to continue the lifespan of cultural identity and individuality. These stories strengthen our roots and remembers those who came before us and those who will come after.

Through the printed text of this project I have utilised the role of a storyteller. This narrative character instils the oral tradition and gives a human voice to the written word. The addition of an accompanying audiobook then gives it life in the form of a jovial Scottish lad that is more than happy to escort you through the Cabinet of Curiosities.

 

This project is the conclusion of my Masters Degree.
